summer 2013

This summer I have returned to working with youth dynamics Adventures. we had 2-3 weeks of intense training, between swimming class 4 rapids, crossing streams, rock climbing, & summiting a mountain, it was a good time. Now we running trips, hosting retreats, & expanding out our facilities.

despite the face that I did not certify for river again this year, I still have a place here running the behind the scenes work & shuttling the vans & rafts.

 I have also been given the optunity to train as an EMT at the local hospital here in leaven worth. I am looking into search & rescue. Guiding plus medicine, what could be better?!

Spring training has begone

As of last weekend, spring training has officially begone for Youth Dynamics Adventures; a guiding company & youth ministry.

Tech 1 involved a lot of fairrying, guide strokes, & water reading.

I survived with a few compliments. Toltally worth the 4 hour drive.

O f late I have been neglecting this blog in due to being busy & stressed. with the shining new year I am ready to recommit my life to this blog. there need to be a lot of editing, there will be a few changes, & I am hoping a few more collaborations!

snowboarding for the first time!

Last Saturday I had an opportunity to go with a few friends from church up to mount baker ski resort. For me this was my first time being on the mountain & first time strapping into my snow board I had bought years ago. this was a great way to start of my new year!

   

todays find

I found a brand new pair of "bull head" dark denim, 29 X 30 pair of jeans at the trift store for $6.99. yes I am very proud of myself :3

this year I have spent around $50 on presents, though it did take twice as long. the hunt was worth it :)

Announcement.

with the new year coming up, with it come some changes. I have decided as part of my goal for excellence, this blog will only post pictures from original sources such as myself or anyone else who is working with me.

This being said, many of the post already published with be edited for the sake of this new policy (as soon as I can afford a camera that is).

Rock climbing

When I rock climb, I feels like I am taking back my life. I am defying my fear, weakness, & I feel like this fallure can accomplish something for the first time in his life. Like nothing is out of my grasp. If I shall fall, I will try & try again until I have fought my way up to the top. And once there, I look down at something I once thought impossible & say "what's next". That my friends is being grisly alive.
